RealtyShares Exiting the Business

I received a notice today from RealtyShares that it will no longer be making loans due to lack of a financing source.  Anyone have any insight into the situation?  Anyone aware of any similar situation in the past and how that turned out for investors?  RealtyShares indicated that it will continue to service existing loans but should I expect the company to terminate and pass on the servicing function to a third party?
