Splitting a bedroom into two: sale and rental appreciation ?
Hi,
My house is a two bedrooms. One of the bedroom is relatively large: 19 ft 4 in x 11 ft 5 in. I'm thinking of splitting it into 2 rooms: ~
11 ft in x 9 ft in and 8 ft x 12 ft 5 in
The second bedroom of the house is 12 ft x 11 ft. If i go with the split this second bedroom would be the largest bedroom in the house (master bedroom if you will). That bedroom has three windows and two heat Radiant. Each of the two split rooms will have it's heat Radiant. One room would have one window while the other would have two windows.
Would the two rooms after the split be too small ?
Also would this split be beneficial for the sale or rent price (if i decide to rent it) now the home would have 3 bedrooms instead of 2 bedrooms ?
The house is 1359 sq feet: first floor has living room + dinning room (open spaces), kitchen and half bathroom while the second floor has full bathroom and two bedrooms.
Thanks
Noury
