Liability and concerns of having a wood buring stove in a rental
I have just purchased a SFH which has a wood burning stove in the living room. What concerns, liabilities, responsibilities and legal implications should I be aware of in regards to landlord protection? Should (could) there be any language in the rental lease disclosing the stove and recognizing that the landlord is indemnified from liability if disclosed properly?
thank you BPers...

Don't waste your efforts trying to protect yourself just remove it. Never let a tenant use a wood stove or a fire place. Remove them, board them up, make them inoperable, inform tenants that under no circumstances are they permitted to use it.
The majority of tenants can not be trusted with a flash light let alone an actual fire.
