probate sale / disclosures required?

Even in a probate sale, are disclosures legally required? I spoke with an agent about a property who said that disclosures are not necessary since it's an estate sale, an "as is" sale. From my understanding of Real Estate, disclosures are required for all properties.

This is in regards to a property in California.
