How to become a real estate developer in San Francisco bay area?

Hi everyone, I am looking to start to start my path to a successful real estate developer in San Francisco bay area. I've been a good problem solver in my field. I really want to apply my skillsets to solve housing problems in crowded cities. My goal is to create sustainable and robust housing demand/supply balance hence producing a constant, affordable housing option for majority of the people along with time.
