Duplex investment for college student
Hello - I am 24 years old and have recently stopped playing minor league baseball and plan to go back to school in the state of Virginia to finish my degree. I’ll be there for one year. I found a duplex ( 3 and 3 units) good location, good condition, move in ready. As someone new to the real estate world, what advice do you guys have? Would this be a good investment to live for free and use as strictly a rental property once I graduate? Would I run into any trouble because I am an out of state resident/buyer in Virginia? Thanks guys!
