Real Estate Investing in Illinois

Hi, I am exploring creative real estate investing in the northern suburbs of Chicago. I feel like I have just enough knowledge to be dangerous. I have learned how to market for motivated sellers and cash buyers, what questions to ask, etc. What I don't know about in Illinois is whether I need to have an attorney. Do I need one in this state or can I work directly with a title company?
