Realtor license in Missouri

I am wondering if I get my realtor license if that alone gives me access to the mls or do I still have to go through a broker and if so what kind of fees am I looking at? I am very new to real estate investing. I also want to know is it really worth having your realtor license? Any info would really be helpful I live in Missouri if that makes a difference.
