Using a land trust for investment properties

Hi, I'm new to the site and forum.  Just curious if anyone uses a land trust to hold their investment properties?  I know only some states allow this.  I'm still learning about how theses trusts work, but I'm wondering if anyone has experience.  Thanks for your input
