YUCK Insurance Question

Hello to all BP members !!

Long time,,,First time here.

My name is Scott and I'm Hoping someone help with guidance. I have my first rental property under contract here in Michigan and it is a nice 4 plex, two separate buildings (1 - 3plex  and 1 log cabin)  on same property.  I have received two insurance quotes for full replacement coverage and 1mil liability on both units. There are two separate policy here.

Replacement values are 400,000 for one building and 120,000 for the other.

Both quotes came in together for a total of just over 400.00 per month.  WoW a shocker to me. I was expecting 100-150.

Would 400 per month be considered "ballpark"on a property as I've described or are these extremely high? I understand there are many variables but we are talking generalizations here.

Anyone have a reputable insurance company they recommend.

THANK YOU  for the time all the members take to help others. This community has been great for me and has helped me shorten my learning curve. You guys are awesome!!

TIA - Scott
