Keep RE License or let it expire

I have a RE license that will expire in a couple of months. Although I have not been affiliated with a RE Company for a while, all I would need to do is complete some continuing education in order to keep it valid. Going forward, do you think having a RE license is a negative or positive for an Investor?

THere is good and bad., and this is probablly one of the most asked questions, should an investor get there license. My license has helped me absolutely non since i got it. Got it when I turned 18 and recently let it expire in both Arizona and California. I think it comes down to more what you will be doing in your real estate career. Flips!? Might be nice to have mls access and be able to list your own properties. I'm into rentals and it didn't serve me much purpose, only reason I've kept it so long is one of the renewal classes always had renewathons in rocky point meixco and it was an excuse to get away.!
I didn't like disclosing I was licensed, idk why just didn't like it, I feel that the public thinks your trying to screw them if your licensed.
