What is needed to submit an offer?

Hey guys so I've been looking at properties and am wondering what I need to do when submitting an offer? Do I have to have an LOI or contract ready when I do so? Or is it as simple as telling the agent or broker my offer is X?

Hi Michael Guzik if you are working with an agent they will have their contracts to use. You want to ensure your contingencies are all in there. If you are going direct then you want to find a local real estate attorney to provide you a contract you can use. This way you will know it is in compliance with your area. There are, of course, template contracts online as well but they are not specific to you or your market.
