Looking for how to start conversations

Hello, I am new here and just thought I would start of with asking a couple of questions. Is there anyone here from linn county Oregon? (I am in Lebanon) my wife and I are very close to finishing up the repairs on our house and our plans are to sell and purchase a couple of rentals along with another house that we'll fix up as we live in it with the equity of our sale. My questions are does anyone know who to speak to in person as a start (more importantly who to stay away from) as well as the best way to start a conversation and what is the potentially the best approach to seeing our plans thru? Pros and cons to different approaches? I have listened to a few books and I am really wanting to make a move but am still a little (honestly scared on where to start) unsure on the best way for us to go? Any and all advice and information that you guys give I thank you in advance.
