Revitalizing Lake Conway (Mayflower, AR)

Hi BP Community,

I recently purchased a property as a fix-to-rent property on Lake Conway in Arkansas. I have since decided to make it my personal residence since we liked it so much.

However, after riding around the lake both on the water and on the road, I have seen a lot of houses that could use some serious work.

I have talked to several people around the lake that said that the area used to be a thriving fishing community where people would travel to visit and enjoy. Now, however, there are some areas that are pretty rough and unkempt.

I am wondering if there is anyone out there that is interested in a project to revitalize this area and make it a hotspot like it used to be.

My hope is to:

- Physically clean up the area by teaming up with city volunteers to pick up trash

- Purchase rough properties to fix up nicely and sell or rent them out.

If you are interested in this endeavor, PM me or comment on this post. I'd like to hear suggestions and/or if you know of a property that would get us started, please send it over to me to check out. I'm mainly looking for properties on the water, but would be interested in them if they are in the same neighborhood.

Have a fantastic 2018!

Zac
