Wholesaler Teaming Up With Brokers?

Hi BP,

I just got contacted by a broker in my area who talked to me for about 15 minutes. He buys flips on the side and asked about me having any deals. He also mentioned that if I find a seller that doesnt give me a good deal for wholesaling he would do a referall fee but I am unsure of how to structure this so I dont get my leads jacked. He even mentioned doing a joint wholesale deal together if my seller wasnt giving me a good enough deal, basically he would come in with his 'supposed' expert negotiating skills . He sounded smart enough to negotiate someone down a bit but I dont take peoples words on things.

How do I build trust? SHOULD I build trust? Im not trying to be rude to these people but it is a potentially dangerous situation, especially for a newb.

Any thoughts on this?
