How long did it take you to land your very first property?

We all know that once you decide to start in real estate and start looking for your first deal you just don’t trip and land on one. As I’ve come to realize while searching for my first deal.  I stick to my numbers and what makes sense. After visiting potential prospects and running dozens of number it gets discourging and maybe a bit impatient to land that first one and get your feet wet.

Wondering if some of y’all can shed some light on their story on how long it took them to land there first one (I know it varies)? Also thoughts while in the process?

Thank you in advance. I look forward to reading your stories/comments

About 2 months. I made a lot of mistakes on my first property and I was certain I over paid.
