Who can bid on HUD properties
I am looking to bid on HUD properties - and trying to find an HUD-registered agent who can place the bids for me.
I plan on making a lot of bids and want to make sure the agent is "on-board".
I have found 2 (so far) and each has told me that they can't bid on properties not in their area.
That is... agent works in state A and can't bid on properties in state B.
I have read a ton of stuff on HUD's web site - but have not found any stated restrictions regarding limitations on geographic locations.
Are there any? As a bidder, can I (the agent) bid on any property that HUD has to offer?
Thanks in advance!
