Airbnb Kalamazoo MI?

Hey BiggerPockets community,

After listening to the BiggerPockets Podcast #229 with Zeona McIntyre I am inspired to try Airbnb.  I was thinking of the possibility of turning one or two of my rental properties Kalamazoo MI to strictly Airbnb.  She said she likes Airbnb in college towns which Kalamazoo IS a college town.  I am curious to here if anyone is doing Airbnb in the Kalamazoo area as a non-owner occupied?

Thanks!

@Anssi Viljanen I like your attitude and yet there is a bit that you can lose. First off furnishing an entire home can be quite expensive 4-12K easy. I usually think a furnished home is great to rent as an executive rental if you don't like Airbnb and yet it can still be a lot of work and difficult to find a property manager that does medium term rentals.

Furnishing is also no joke, it can be a huge time sucking process so I just recommend doing all you research before diving in.
