Financial Advisor or Not?
Hey everyone!
My partner and I are curious about something. We've been doing investments ourselves but we were also thinking of also providing consulting services to help other people who want to invest their money into real estate. People have been approaching my partner and I with interest in us helping them invest their money so that's where this idea came from?
Would that be considered as being a financial adviser if I'm focusing strictly on REI and not other securities/forms of investments? The reason being I would have to get licensed if that is the case.
Thanks in advance!
