How has NETWORKING through BP helped improve your REI Business?

Question

I just wanted to take a moment to thank BP Nation once again for helping me to meet and network with some GR8 people that are also BP member's.  They are relatively new investors from the Greater Seattle area that were looking to invest over here in my farming area, Walla Walla Washington (which is located on the S.E. side of Washington State).  They drove over here to get a feel for what the WW market place has to offer in the way of REI.  I don't blame them as I look at what RE cost in the Seattle area!

Never the less, I just wanted to send a shout out to BP for creating such an awesome platform for allowing RE investors the ability to connect with one another with just a click of a few buttons.  I also want to encourage and congratulate @Alicia Flatt for taking the steps to getting involved in REI and know that her and her husband are going to do GR8 things in the REI world as they are both very sharp and have a GR8 mindset as it relates to their goals.  Once again, Congrats on getting involved now just continue to execute until you find that deal.

So since I have shared my recent connection on BP now it is your turn BP nation, how many connections have you made utilizing this GR8 site and how has it help in improving your REI business?  Thanks for allowing me to share and here is to wishing you all a very successful 2017 in your REI ventures!

I agree with @Tony Wooldridge. Thanks to BP networking, my husband and I had the opportunity to meet with Tony and his wife while in Walla Walla, and it was great getting an investor's perspective of the market. Good luck with your flip, Tony, and appreciate the encouragement!

I totally agree with you that BP has been truly a GR8 resource as it has given me perspective and insight into things that most certainly would take me years upon years to learn on my own.  I feel as though even as a relatively new investor you can still give back by asking the questions that not only you learn from but others do as well through reading your post as they themselves may be scared to ask.

The Podcast, the books, the forums but mostly the interaction with ALL of our fellow colleagues on here is the TRUE GOLD that is Bigger Pockets.  Thanks for stopping by to share your thoughts and here is to wishing you a successful 2017 in your REI ventures!

Hey there! Glad to hear BP has been of such benefit to you! It has been a great resource for myself as well. It's helped improve my business ten fold, as it'd be quite literally nothing without it. Granted, my business is relatively small as of right now. However, I met some great minds through it, and attended networking events as a result of this website as well. Has been invaluable, and opened my eyes to many different perspectives on real estate, and has given me a better grasp on the scope of real estate! Exciting times my friend.

@Alicia Flatt, I am so glad to see that you have taken the step forward in posting for the first time, Congrats!  Thanks for allowing me to be a part of it.  Now keep it up.  One of the very beneficial things to how BP works (in my humble opinion) is the more you post and stay relevant the more motivated and engaged you will become which in turn will help produce ACTION, and ACTION is were the rubber meets the road.  As I have stated earlier, It was all my pleasure getting a chance to talk shop with you and your husband (our very own BP Meet-up!!!!
