Renting Property To Seniors In A 55 and Older Community
Is it much more difficult to rent out condos in 55 and older complexes in comparison to condos in regular communities? I am in Orange County, Ca and people have been saying that there is a huge lack of housing for seniors. The 1 bedroom and studio units in the particular complex I have an eye on are much cheaper than the typical studio or 1 bedroom (140k for studios and 170k for 1 bedrooms in comparison to 250k-350k for units in a regular community). The studios rent for about 850-1k and the 1 bedrooms rent for 1200-1400.
Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!
