new investor meeting with mentor for the first time
Today was my first meeting with my mentor. He basically told me since I am only 22 with no money to invest in real estate and not a long credit history, that I should focus on finding a college or institute to pursue a real estate license? His reasons were banks and hard money/private lenders will be reluctant to work with me being that I have no real knowledge or experience. Any thoughts or suggestions? What action steps can a rookie like me take realistically besides reading books, going to reia groups and looking up and analyzing deals? I am hungry and determined to get out of my job immediately. I am going to continue to work on my knowledge and foundations and take as much action as possible.
