Introduction and Capital Expenditures

Hello!

My name is Marley and I am new to the forum section of Bigger Pockets (But have been an avid listener for a bit).

I am hoping to buy my first property this year!  And for the most part information has been pretty simple to find in the recommended books and through various podcasts/youtubers.

But this one question I can't seem to find the answer to, and maybe thats because its so simple.

When you take money out for capital expenditures, where do you put it?  Annuities?

Thanks a bunch in advance, and I am excited to be apart of this awesome community!
