Lease Purchase/Lease Options in Texas
Hi BP community. I have been looking into a specific type of real estate investing called lease purchasing/lease option. I have read other posts but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. My question is lease purchasing/lease options illegal in TX? I have heard that when the law changed back in 2005 Lease purchase type deals became illegal. I have also heard that structuring a cooperative lease option and assigning your contract/interest in the deal is how you can do a lease option in Texas. I have come across John Jackson and some of his material on lease options. Has anyone heard of him/used his training?
