Need advice on purchasing property without Title Insurance

Have an opportunity to purchase an income producing rental property at a great price. My attorney has stated there will be no title insurance. The current owners inherited the property from their father who got the property from a quit claim signed over by a construction company in 1983. Since there hasn't been any other claims on the property since 1983, should I have any concerns about purchasing this property without title insurance?
