Top 10 Neighborhoods Austin TX
Here is an article with a compiled list of the top 10 neighborhoods in 2016 in Austin, TX. This is an important piece of information to all investors who are seeking what neighborhoods have the top rated school districts, attractions, and best areas for growth and potential overall. This list was created by first looking at the assessments conducted by GreatSchools.com, a non-profit organization that profiles preK-12 schools along with reviews from parents. Using the GreatSchools data as a starting point, then focusing on those schools that rated 8 or better on a scale of 1-10.
- Milwood — This neighborhood tops my list for several reasons. First, this is the area that I anticipate will see the highest rate of appreciation in the coming year. (You can read more about my picks for high appreciating neighborhoods here.) I also picked Milwood because of its close proximity to the Domain, which many say will become Austin’s second downtown. Plus, the area is still relatively affordable (as in low 200s to 400s). The average home in Milwood last year was a 3/2 with about 1700 square feet of living space.Milwood speaks for itself when it comes to why it would be rated the #1 neighborhood in Austin.
