Military? Strategies for 2-3 years.

Hello BP! I would like to discuss strategies that can be used during 2-3 year spans to build a portfolio in REI. Specifically military. Being in the military everyone moves more or less every 2-3 years. What are strategies you have used? What can be used or applied? Any examples? Thank you!

Hi Jonathan,

I'm not in the military myself, but my dad was and we know a lot of families that employed this type of strategy.  Basically, they bought a house at every duty station, and when they moved, employed a management company and slowly grew their portfolio that way.  There is a lot more to it, but there is a great podcast about a military investor who is killing it in Pensacola, FL...
