MeterSave Water Metering Program

Hi all!

I'm in the midst of my first BRRRR and one of the things I hear about is the increasing cost of water in multifamily properties. I live in Chicago and I received a bill for $973.64 shortly after purchasing the property (May 2016). This is a bi-annual bill and it honestly shocked me as my family and I are very mindful of water/energy consumption. There are some that believe splitting the water from the main is the best way to go and some choose to use the MeterSave program. Well...I chose to try out the latter. I called them early last week and the work is already done as of today. The work is well done (about an hour), the staff is great, and they were actually early to their 2-hour window they gave me. I've added a couple photos below to show the work and the package they provide once the service is done. The package includes different water conservation faucet heads, shower head, aerators, shower timer, toilet tank bank, toilet flapper, and other tools to make sure there are no silent leaks costing you unnecessary expenses. Figured I'd share and I'll update with some overall cost/use consumption numbers...
