Suggested equity position for individual investment properties

Hi all,

There's something I've been wondering and haven't quite found an answer to yet: While BRRRR and similar methods are great to grow a portfolio 'quicker than cash allows', is it unwise to ever have yourself in an equity position of <10-20% in any one of your properties?
