I am a real estate agent, licensed in Kansas and Missouri, and have been involved in real estate investing for many years, although I'm only in my mid twenties. I have done a number of deals as a bit of a "sweat equity" type partner in an LLC - partly as the agent, helping the buy or the sell as a realtor - but, also as a partner in the deal(s). We've done mostly rent and hold properties, but because of the market in KC, we've begun to do more development / buying property and flipping them or knocking the house down and building new construction to sell.
