The Best Marketing is Getting Face to Face With Sellers

Over the years I've tried a lot of different marketing ideas and several that I use are still working today, however, I still believe that knocking on someones door and getting face to face with them is still (in my opinion) the best marketing method out there. I suppose there's a few caveats to that, but for most of us... we're looking to engage with property owners and what better place is there... than at their doorstep?

There's several reasons for this but the main one is that many people have grown numb to advertisements and traditional forms of marketing. When you're standing in front of someone and you approach them with respect and courtesy, it's hard for them to ignore you like they do a postcard or an ad on Facebook.

Beyond that, there are dozens... and possibly even hundreds of prospects that live near you if you live in a or near a metropolitan area like I do. I recently did a basic search for my ideal prospects and found there were over 500 within a 15 mile radius of me... and more keep popping up everyday! You can make a day of it... or you could spend a few hours on the weekend meeting with homeowners. Let me tell you, the results and the experience you get at the door will be well worth it. Nothing can replace face to face.

Door knocking is one of the oldest forms of engaging with prospects... and trust me... it still works gangbusters over anything else I've found.

Get out there and make it real!
