Wholesale Deal - Power of Attorney - Need advice please
Hello all, I'm a wholesaler planning on putting a property under contract. Here's the thing, he live about 5 hours away, and I told him I could fedex or just fax him the contracts. He insisted that he had his brother who lived by the property to show the property and sign the contract since he has power of attorney. How do I go about this? and how can I verify he really is the power of attorney. Any advice would be great! Thanks!

Ask for a copy of the POA and get the contract signed, NOW. Take it to the title company and let them work it out.
Its not your job as a wholesaler to work all the chinks out of every deal. Let everyone do their job. Its your title company's job to determine if it's a legitimate POA.
The point is to at least get the seller mentally, if not legally, committed to selling you the house, and then very quickly get that paperwork to the people that know what they're doing (i.e. the title agent).
