Erroneous Credit History and Lenders

An alleged debt was reported to Credit Bureaus against my account and lowered my credit score-540. It appeared as a collection against my account and reason for my home loan application and other loan applications not being approved. This hurt my business and plunged me into alternative lending. That collection account has been reported to the credit bureaus for many months . I only learned about it today when notified by a potential lender who also denied my application. I have excellent history of paying back all my credits and score(680-750).

I would like to sue Bureaus for not putting any checks when random third parties report debts as they hurt me financially. The practice also hurts lenders as they draw business conclusions based on erroneous credit history reports and thus miss a good opportunity/ lose clients. Disputing an entry on credit report is not enough; damage is made at the point where erroneous reports are allowed to penetrate the system and appear on the credit history. I estimate my damage in an excess of $80,000 not including the missed ability to purchase a home. How do I rectify this situation and regain my borrowing power other than disputing the account which takes 30 days? Any experiences or lawsuits filed again Credit Bureaus due to a missed business opportunity/damages caused by erroneous credit reports when these are due to recklessness of Credit Bureaus who allowed any third party to enter unverified/alleged debts?
