Materials for re-habbing ... Buying in bulk ?

I’m thinking about buying some materials in bulk for the projects I have. Doing that I started researching and came across some nice products from China at good prices…I just don’t know if shipping will through the potential gain out the window or if it’s even worth the effort.
Any other investor/rehabber doing this?
