Why would realtor not consider MLS?
Good morning all, I'm looking for some advice.
I'm curious why a Realtor would consider selling their own property through a pocket listing- this particular one is in no hurry and it's making me wonder why they don't want to use MLS.
Wouldn't an unmotivated realtor be the most likely to put it out there?

Do off market and make any potential buyer show their financials before they see a property with no lock box.
This will likely get rid of all the deadbeats and time wasters.
When you have (by appointment only and buyer needs to qualify before showing) that gets rid of a bunch of them.
