First time investor, question about placing a lien on a property

My uncle and grandfather have worked in construction for most of their lives and have rehabbed several houses for a flipper in their city, so they recently decided they wanted to buy a fixer upper themselves and then put in their own labor to get everything done.

I decided to invest. I purchased the property for them (all cash), and they are going to be doing all of the labor and will be using their own money for all of the repairs. They purchased the house and I just wired the funds directly to the escrow account, and the house is now theirs free and clear.

We agreed that we would place a lien on the property so I'll get paid back first and so I'm legally protected. How do I go about doing this? Do I need to hire an attorney? Who do I contact to get this done?

Thank you in advance for your help!
