Tax Deed Property Nightmare! HELP!

Hey guys, Quick question. We bought almost 5 acres of land for around 10,000 a few months ago at a tax sale, free and clear sale. We are trying to clear the title so we can sell it. We had our attorney contact the admin of the estate and offer them 500 bucks to sign the property over to us. The admin got back to our attorney today and have requested 2500 to sign it over. So I have a few questions: 1. As it will cost us around $1500-2000 to clear the title through our attorney, I don't want to pay the admin of estate money if it would just cost us less to go to the courts anyway. BUT is it a different deed if we go through the courts then if she just signed it over? 2. Our attorney said generally, the plaintiff has no case and doesn't ever win. While I'm hoping this is accurate, is there a chance we could lose the property? (It was sold at a free and clear tax sale, we are a tax deed state, and we been paying taxes on it and it's listed under our name on our county website.) Any help or advice is appreciated! Thank you! What would you do?
