I'm going to lock in my personal refinance tomorrow (4/8/16, which is "today" when you are reading this), assuming rates don't go crazy between close of business on 4/7/16 (now) and markets opening 4/8/16 (tomorrow morning).

I'm a mortgage lender that does >90% purchase business, <10% refi business. Most mortgage folks shoot for like a 60/40 or 50/50 split; I'm obviously abnormal in my mix. So when I of all people refi, it's time for you to refi too. Last time the getting was this good was over a year ago, Jan 2015.

Any refi that you've got on your "to-do" list, now is the time to make that call and lock. If you've already got a sexy rate and no PMI or HELOC: ignore this post, you're all set.

Weekends tend to be when rates drastically change, so waiting until Monday could (and probably will) bite you in the butt.

My commodity rate sheets say "Bay Area Rates" on them, but my correspondent and brokered channels have also been super sexy of late, so it's universal. Now is the time.

That is all.

Cheers and good luck!
