First Time Property Showing
Hello,
I am visiting my first property showing on Multifamily properties. I haven't been able to find any concise information on what are some of the aspects I should be looking for when inside the property. I was wondering what a new real estate investor should not miss when they are looking at a property? Any ideas on some red flags that you need to look for when on a showing (inside and outside)? Also, when looking at the neighborhood what kind things should you make sure you notice?
I also was wondering about estimating Cap Ex for a property. Even looking at other articles, I have been having a hard time estimating what My Cap Ex will be on a property. I have been assuming 5%, is that too conservative or not enough?
