Credit report for tenants - putting bad comments
I have not had this situation but I keep wondering if a tenant doesn't pay the rent how does a landlord even get it on his credit report. I don't have a professional property management company - do everything myself but it strikes me as a difficult thing for an individual landlord to do?

First, evictions show up on background checks. Just be sure to get one that gives a credit, criminal, eviction check.
Second, if they don't pay their rent odds are they will struggle or outright ignore paying other everyday bills which will be detailed on the credit report.
