Meetups: Thought provoking questions

I have been to a few RE groups/meetups, and sometime conversation can get sideways and upside-down. Though some people have come specifically to market deals at these groups, I feel networking/connecting in or outside of RE is better felt when the experience provided value as a whole. What are some thought provoking question that you have all experienced that have driven great conversation amongst the group?

Thanks

Joe
