The word (LIFE) beside the name on the Real Property Data Search page, Baltimore city. Does this mean this property can't be sold or just what does it mean?

It is a life estate. A life estate means one person owns it until they die and then it transfers to the "Remainderman" You can go to MDlandrec to see the deed and see who the life estate owner is and who the remainderman is.
