Transaction Funding

Does anyone have any experience using transaction funding. I read this a book from BP but have not seen discussions on it any where else and it sounds like it a may be a good way to go if you don't have much cash and are just starting out. Would like anyone whose had or is having an experience using transaction funding to add some of their opinions.

What are you trying to achieve?
Transaction funding is typically used for double closing, etc - essentially funding for a few days/hours or less.
