Hi Stephen I recently became a member on BP and I've been doing lots of reading on the books offer on this website as well as J Scotts book on house flipping. I am also a Construction Project Manager in NY and hope that with my understanding of construction what I am learning on investing I will be ready to make my first move with REI.

Has anyone negotiated down a house on Homepath. I've been told that homes on homepath are non-negotiable but comparing it to surrounding homes it is extremely overpriced. Any suggestions on negotiating the price down? Anyone with prior experience with Homepath?

Does anyone have any experience using transaction funding. I read this a book from BP but have not seen discussions on it any where else and it sounds like it a may be a good way to go if you don't have much cash and are just starting out. Would like anyone whose had or is having an experience using transaction funding to add some of their opinions.

Hello BP Community I have a question and hope to get as many answers and opinions as possible. Has anyone registered an LLC but elected to be treated as an S corporation? I have read about this in many sites and also heard this in a seminar I assisted a few weeks ago. I'm getting ready to register my company but looking for what my best option is.

Hello BP Community I am still very new to all this and doing all my research and reading as everyone else has done when they first started. I have been looking at different options on registering an LLC and it seemed like a lot of people have chosen Nevada for various reasons. But in the last few days I have seen the state of Wyoming as an option also and after reading a lot of information online I decided to post a question and possibly get answers from some experienced REI. What are the steps to registering an LLC in Wyoming? What are the advantages of an LLC in Wyoming or Nevada? How can I operate a business in NJ while my company is registered in another state? Any and all response are welcomed.

Hello, my name is Henry Camacho I am starting in REI and it would be great to meet some of the investors in my area as well.

Any suggestions for someone new to this side of the business?

I am currently a Construction Project Manager in NY and have been around construction my whole life and decided that now is the best time to invest in real estate. I would first like to start with wholesaling and move on from there. I would like to meet other investors and possibly be mentored by someone that has been in the industry for a while and is willing to teach me and guide me through this journey.
