Birmingham, AL Investment Property
My father wants to hand over some family property in Birmingham that he has been paying the taxes on for over 10 years.
Doing some research I learned that the last deed on record was in my great-grandmother's name. She is deceased and only has one remaining living child.
Is there a way to obtain a deed to the property without having to hunt down a million cousins who don't know this property exists? We have no contact with any of them and we have been maintaining the property for years.
Also if anyone could recommend a good attorney to handle this matter I would appreciate it.
