Seeking a new licensed General Contractor in the Atlanta area!

Hi There!

We are seeking a new contractor for our real estate investing business in the Atlanta area who covers both Fulton and Cobb counties.  We used the same contractor on our last 2 rehab projects and he was incredibly SLOW! Despite the caveat in our contract where a certain amount of money will be taken off for each day he exceeds our agreed-upon deadline, that did not incentivize him to pick up the speed.  Both jobs each took more than 2 months longer than promised (as weeks went by with the house being untouched).  He also enlists unreliable sub-contractors who do not show up for work which further delays our projects due to the fact that he doesn't pay them on time resulting in disgruntled workers that perform botched work sometimes resulting in us having to pay someone else to fix. On one of our previous homes, his former electrician even vandalized the house with paint as a result of our GC not paying him on time.  For those seasoned rehabbers out there that have a reliable contractor(s) in place, please help!! I would greatly appreciate it if you can either respond to this post or inbox me with any referrals for a new reliable & quality contractor (who is licensed and insured) as we prepare for our next rehab job in 2016!

Thanks in advance!
