Re-listening to BP Podcasts

I just wanted to put this this out there for everyone, newbies and experienced investors  alike.  There is SO much information and knowledge to be gained by listening to the various podcasts.  I have listened to every podcast that BP has put out.  But in the middle of last month, my laptop crashed and died on me.  I ended up having to purchase a new laptop for myself and, after doing so, I had to re-install all of my software and things of that nature onto it.  When I installed iTunes on it, it re-downloaded all of the BP podcasts and all of the AskBP podcasts, since I am subscribed to both of them.  When it did that it showed all of them as "Un-Played."  At first, I thought about just checking them all off and marking them as played, since I have already listened to them, but then I had a better idea.  Why not take the time and begin re-listening to them.  I figured that there was, probably, something that I could learn through that process.  I was, definitely, right!!  Over the past couple of weeks, I've been going through the different podcasts and realized that, even though I've heard all of this information before, there is still a lot of information that I pick up on now that I didn't previously.  Even on subjects (or maybe, especially on) that I thought I knew a lot about or was good at, I can still pick up bits of information or tips about different things that I didn't pick up on the first time I heard it.  It just proves to me that, no matter how much we think we know about a certain subject, we can always learn more.  (Not to mention that there is always someone out there that knows more than we do.)  I just figured, that since this has been so beneficial to me, that I would just throw this little tip out there for everyone else.  Just because you've listened to the podcasts before, doesn't mean that you learned everything that you could from it.  It's possible that you might be able to gain extra knowledge and skills by going back and listening again.

Replied

I'm sure there are many others who have listened to some of the podcasts more than once and gotten the same benefits.  Good reminder for others.
