Finders fee from agents
I came across multiple sites that say that Brokerages can pay fees to nonlicensees for referrals under state law if they don’t engage in activities with the referrals that require a real state license.
How am I supposed to know what activities qualify as this? If I can't buy their house from them and I say "I know an agent who can get you top dollar for your house", I don't see how that is doing an activity that requires a license.
