Anyone have any thoughts on this article from Bloomberg?

http://www.bloomberg.com/gadfly/articles/2015-12-09/your-home-really-isn-t-a-good-investment

I feel like the author is only looking skin deep as it relates to real estate investing. Much more in regard to buying a personal home that is not generating any cash flow, nor is anyone else paying to build up equity in the home for you in your home. Only your own hard earned cash doing that in a personal residence.

Interested to hear some other thoughts on the matter.

Thanks.
