I have been listening to the podcasts over the last few weeks and I have heard Brandon say that just bringing up real estate will cause people to tell their own stories.  This happened to me yesterday.  A coworker mentioned a rental property so I mentioned I have started looking for a property and that it would be my first one.  She went on to go into detail about the lessons she has learned, and even offered all her information such as lease docs, credit apps, and companies that she uses.  Brandon was right, speak up and people will offer help.

Since I don't have any work related real estate experience I have primarily relied on BiggerPockets and other sites for my education.  The first major take away I saw was real estate is a business relying on networking.  So I followed the lesson and it worked.
